SAS Settings

TechWriter supports documenting SAS 9.0, 9.1 and 9.2 databases through the SAS Data Set source. When you add a SAS Data Set source to your project, TechWriter displays the following dialog.

Use this dialog to specify the location of a file folder that contains the data set files.

Note: In order to connect to SAS data sets, you must have the SAS Provider for OLE DB installed on your computer. This software can be downloaded and installed for free from the SAS Support website at http://support.sas.com/techsup/. TechWriter currently only supports direct connections to data sets through use of the SAS Local Data Provider.
