MySQL Settings

TechWriter supports documenting MySQL 5.0 and 5.1 databases through the MySQL source. When you add a MySQL source to your project, TechWriter displays the following dialog.

Use this dialog to specify your MySQL connection settings.

MySQL Setting Description

Hostname Name of the server where your MySQL database is located.

Port The TCP/IP port to use to connect to the MySQL server.

Schema The name of the MySQL schema that you wish to document.

User Name The name of a user that has permission to the MySQL server and schema.

Password The password of the user.
