Format Menu

When you click on the Format Option on the Main Menu, the following drop-down menu will appear:

Format Menu

The Format menu contains options for creating richly formatted annotations and is only available when the Annotations tab is selected.

Format Menu Option Description

Bold Causes the selected text to be displayed using a bold font.

Italic Causes the selected text to be displayed using a italic font.

Indent Increases the amount of spacing to the left of the text.

Outdent Decreases the amount of spacing to the left of the text.

Bullets Creates a bulleted list.

Numbering Creates a numbered list.

Hyperlink Links the selected text to either an external web page or an internal topic.

Remove Formatting Clears any formatting from the selected text.

Superscript Causes the selected text to be displayed as a superscript.

Subscript Causes the selected text to be displayed as a subscript.

Align Sets the alignment of the selected text or image.
